way because Kerala has many destinations known for their natural beauty and exquisite landscape. It is a responsible tourism to
the natural areas, which conserve the ecology and promote the welfare of the people. Ecotourism is a sound environmental tourism.
It focuses tourism to the destinations where flora, fauna cultural and historical heritage are the prime attractions. If ecotourism is
not monitored properly it can be as damaging as the mass tourism. This paper was an attempt to study the challenges,
