Sankar Basu
Sankar Basu (born 1953 in Calcutta, India) is an American electrical engineer, whose research has focused on micro- and nanoelectronics and signal processing. He served for many years as a program director at the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF). His technical contributions to circuits and systems theory have been recognized by election as a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
