Paul Hyer

Paul Van Hyer (June 2, 1926 – January 22, 2018) was a professor of Chinese History at Brigham Young University (BYU) and the founder of its Asian Studies program. He was also a key figure in the growth of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in Taiwan. Provided by Wikipedia
