Dakshinamurti sculpture on the southern entrance of the [[Meenakshi Temple]] in [[Madurai]]. Dakshinamurti () is an aspect of the Hindu god Shiva as a guru (teacher). He is regarded to be the personification of the supreme or the ultimate awareness, understanding, and knowledge.
