Mobilization of deposits for a bank is as essential as oxygen for human beings. The study focused on the growth of deposits in the Malappuram District Co-operative Bank. The study revealed that, there has been a remarkable growth in the mobilization of all kinds of deposits in the Malappuram District Co-operative bank during period of study. The deposit mix of the bank has changed over the years and the share of fixed deposit is comparatively high in the total deposits of the bank. | ||
