down transmission and distribution losses and using the cleanest source of traditional energy,
hydel power. However, there is a demand-supply gap. The challenge in this sector is to provide
quality power to all at affordable rates. Supply has to be increased but the move should be
towards using larger proportions of renewable energy over time. |
