Their position can be improved only by providing employment opportunities .Micro credit based enterprises have significance in this context. The successful functioning of these enterprises provides economic independence to women. Organising women through Self Help Groups and equip them to undertake income generating activities through the formation of micro enterprises have created an economic revolution in the country. Emergence of women entrepreneurs and the beginning of micro enterprises development have followed from these achievements .The intervention of voluntary efforts from promotional agencies need not be emphasized. As against this background the present study has been undertaken. | ||
