Over the past decade, there has been an increasing convergence between the activities of investment and Commercial banks, because of the deregulation of the financial sector. This paper aims to assess the dimensions and determinants of financial innovations in the Indian banking industry and to compare the public and private sector bank manager’s perception regarding the dimensions and determinants of financial innovation. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) results validate the fitness of the models developed in the study and the result of the independent sample t-test proves that there is significant difference in the perception of public and private sector bank managers regarding dimensions of financial innovations except for ‘organisational’ and ‘technological’ innovations and determinants of financial innovations except ‘efficiency’ and ‘level of innovativeness’ | ||
