The study reveals that there exists a positive relationship between wages and the output produced by the firms. This relationship holds valid across size categories. Further, labor productivity is also determined by the size of the firm and this impact increases while moving from the low to the high category. The study also brought out the role of ownership structure in the aforesaid relationships
