National Council of Educational Research and Training
National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) () is an autonomous organisation of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Its headquarters are located on Sri Aurobindo Marg in New Delhi. Prof. Dinesh Prasad Saklani has been the director of NCERT since 2022.In 2023, NCERT constituted a 19-member committee, including author and Infosys Foundation chair Sudha Murty, singer Shankar Mahadevan, and Manjul Bhargava to finalize the curriculum, textbooks and learning material for classes 3 to 12.
